New York City in the Springtime
Well, Memorial Day weekend is beautiful, just beautiful. Friday we got out of work early. I went to Hoboken to Simon's place for Shabbat dinner with his parents and sister Rebecca and her little Zoe. Saturday I went to spend the rest of the Sabbath with my friends in Teaneck, New Jersey. That was lovely and relaxing. Had a very late dinner back in the city with Simon & Rebecca at Northwest, a great restaurant on Columbus Ave and 79th Street.
This morning I met with Shuli and we went for a bike ride down the westside of Manhattan along the bike path. It was beautiful. Tonight I have a date with Jim, the Actuary. We're going to a Meditteranean restaurant on the east side called Casa La Femme. I've been doing some research on reviews and it has a fairly mixed opinion of being a very romantic, "perfect-date" place; and having terribly rude and slow service. We'll see. Wish I was more excited. But I remain open minded.
